About 500 thousand protesters chanted anti-Israel slogans. Protesters believed that Israel has gone too far with their aggression which so far killed 846 Palestinians of which majority are children.

Member of the party's advisory board Hidayat Nur Wahid who participated in the rally calls for all Indonesians to help Palestinbe throught various medium such as financial and food aid. Hidayat also strongly advised the united nations to give hard sanctions to Israel in order to put a stop to Israel's attack which by today have entered its sixteenth day.

Israeli tanks and soldiers deployed along Gaza's border prepared for another day of battles as fighting between The Jewish State and Hamas Militants in The Gaza strip entered its 16th day. Israel and Hamas vowed to fight on, ignoring international calls to stop the conflict in The Gaza strip which entered its day 16th day with heavy clashes between Israel sent tanks deeper into the enclave and threadtened to intensify its air and ground assaults against Palestinian Militants who fired more rockets into The Jewish State.

Palestinian witnesses reported heavy fighting East of the city of Gaza where Hamas Militants fired anti-tank missiles and mortar bombs at advancing Israeli troops who responded with tank shells and air strikes. Human rights watch has accused Israeli of using white-phosphorus munitions and warned of undue suffering to Palestinians civilians through severe burns. Some 846 Palestinians and thirteen Israelis three civilians killed by rocket fire and 10 soldiers have been killed since the offensive began on Dec.27.

Meanwhile in France two aid workers told journalists of their ordeal after spending over three months as hostages in Somalia. A Japanese woman and a Dutch man were taken hostage on September 22 in Ethiopia and detained in Somalia. They were released on January 7 and told media they were relieved. Wilhem sools said he appreciated his newly found freedom.

The two aid workers were working in a mobile hospital and according their NGO "Medecins du monde", no ransom was given for their liberation. Now the news will be closed by information about protests in Mexico city.

Protesters chanted against the violence in Gaza and held signs calling U.S. President George W.Bush a murderer. Latin American activists joined similar protests in The U.S and Europe, where protesters in London and Oslo clashed with police.
