MDC PRESSER AND DRC MIA FARROW

The leadership of Zimbabwe's main opposition party said in Harare it was ready to participate in any new election, as long as it was held under international supervision. And now betacam play.....voice over.....movement for democratic change (MDC) secretary-general, Tendai Biti said his party would reject any poll held under the ruling Zanu PF'S terms.....sound bite.......

Zimbabwe might be forced to hold early elections if constitutional bill creating a power sharing goverment with the oposition fails in parliament, state media reported on Saturday. President Robert Mugabe's Zanu PF lost its parliamentary majority for the first time since independence in 1980. MDC leader Morgan Tsvangirai beat the veteran leader in a March presidential poll but fell short of the necessary votes to avoid a run off.

Mugabe won the second round after Tsvangirai pulled out, citing violence, but the vote was widely condemned. And now we go to Switzerland- DRC MIA Farrow.
United nations children fund goodwill ambassador and actrees Mia Farrow said in Geneva that the people of the democratic Republic of Congo were in desperate need of protection against war crimes.....betacam starts....

Speaking at AUN news briefing, Farow said she had witnessed the desperate of many people there during a recent visit to the country. She said the international community needed to act to protect the people of region. The US actrees a unicef goodwill ambassador since 200 and an active campaigner for children's right around the world, said her experiences in north Kivu indicated there was no difference between the behaviour of any of the sides in the Mayhem.....sound up....atmosfir.....back to newscaster.
